The Low Latency Group within the London Stock Exchange Group has an immediate opening for a Software Project Manager. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic problem-solvers with an interest in capital markets data to join us as we continue providing technology innovation and support to the world’s leading global capital markets companies. Responsibilities include
- Gather requirements and prepare business requirement documents.
- Work across multi-functional teams to ensure alignment of deliverables
- Run Agile process, track project status for reporting and alignment with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage internal and external competing priorities
- Take notes, document decisions, follow up on assigned tasks
- The ideal candidate will have 5- 10 years of experience as a PM in the capital markets technology industries
- Professional certification such as CAPM/PMP/PBA from the Project Management Institute is desirable
- Market Data and Exchange Connectivity experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately
- Independent self-starter who can manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
- Eagerness to learn the business and understand/improve business requirements
- Experience working with cross-functional, globally-distributed teams
- Experience with Jira or other ticketing platforms is required
